yeah, the HP is nice, but what kind of lag do you get with that size turbo? At what RPM do you get the Maximum HP and torque?

Which brings up an interesting question...Has anyone ever heard of an owner-installed turbo pre-engager (for lack of a better term, the device that gets the turbine going by electric motor before the exhaust can get it). I know Porsche was the first to use them, and I have no idea how many cars use them now, but I just wondered if they could be installed as an aftermarket part.

Troux, I've never heard of one for the aftermarket, but there are a lot of companies experimenting with those types of products now. They've also got variable vaned turbo technology that can do the same thing.
